We’ve been a little quiet on the blog front recently but it’s been a hard week recovering from the Farm Shop & Deli Show. We stocked up our van with all things chocolate and headed up to join lots of delicious other exhibitors in the NEC in Birmingham.
The venue was crazy big! Some handy little facts on the travelators told us that it can hold 100,000 people at once, that’s more than the capacity of Wembley stadium! Getting on the monorails to do our post office trips did seem a little bit ridiculous though…
We had a prime spot next to the stage so got to listen to some amazing talks by the industry experts as well as watch some delicious demos by visiting chefs. The show itself was full to bursting with loads of delicious treats. We’re talking antipasti, fresh breads, artisan cheeses, cold-pressed oils – the list goes on. It made it extremely difficult to spend any time on our stand at all or just stop eating full stop. Special shout outs to our boozy friends; Lushice, Pinksters & Sipsmith who kept us fuelled for the afternoon slump with their alcoholic goodies.
Wednesday was party time for us as Richard hit the big 2 7! Lushice’s Laura made all our neighbours/the whole of the show aware with a fantastic rendition of happy birthday made all the more embarrassing with a little dance routine. We couldn’t have asked for a better end to a show! Big cheers to Cotswold Fayre for having us
