It’s not a stretch to say that here at D&D we are all completely barmy…. about food that is. If we’re not eating it we are talking about where we can get our next superdelish foodie fix. One of our favourite meals is good old brunch; I mean it’s hard not to get excited about something where its sole purpose is to allow us not only to have a lie in but also make it totally ok to have pancakes at midday!

Considering it’s all we ever talk about I thought it would be a shame for us not to share our fave spots with you lovely lot. I was originally going to spotlight on just one but to avoid the inevitable heated D&D scrap I thought I would let everyone have their say. So without further ado here are Team D&D’s fave places to guzzle down brunch:


 Druid Street Market - Bermondsey

 “Anything from Druid Street Market - whether it’s the delish chargrilled oysters from Decatur or the amazing Sri Lankan hoppers from Weligama, there¹s always something new to discover!” Rich – Beguiling chocster and co-Founder

 Workshop Coffee, Clerkenwell

  “They roast their own coffee on site and it is UNBELIEVABLY GOOD. That, paired with the sexiest halloumi and sweetcorn fritter I’ve ever tasted makes it a win-win for brunch every time” Nat – Choc seller extraordinnaire

Modern Pantry, Clerkenwell

 “The spiced chocolate chip waffles with orange soaked cranberries just blew my mind! It was the ideal winter brunch dish but there were so many other delicious things on the menu. A great place for chilled out Sunday vibes. Anna – Flavour combo creator and accounts genius

No 67, South London Gallery Peckham  

 “LOVE this place. It’s set in a beautiful, artsy conservatory which opens up on to a dinky courtyard - perfect for summer. They do a cracking mushrooms on toast; roasted portobellos in a creamy white wine and thyme sauce served on a thick slice of sourdough . Yum.” Alexa – Choctastic marketing guru

The Good Life - Chelsea

 This place always knocks my socks off. Their “So Fresh and So Clean” poached egg concoction is a must; quinoa, kale, sweet potato, seeds, spinach cashew cream and an oozy poached egg. Need I say more? Get in their early as it gets mega busy” Rach – Chocolate Crusader
