This week our recipe comes from our mateys over at Protein Pow. They have an entire website devoted to delish high protein recipes born out of playing around with protein powders and cater to every diet imaginable.
You can pick up their protein powders and awesome protein mix packs from Holland & Barrett (just make sure you pick up a certain chocolate bar when you're there too) or on their webshop.
Enough of that though...here their recipe for
1/4 cup peanut butter, vanilla, or chocolate flavored protein powder (ideally whey but a vegan one should work too, just add bit more liquid to your dough!)
1tbsp raw cocoa powder
1.5tbsp maple pecan (or regular) peanut butter
3tsp agave syrup
7drops toffee flavdrops
7drops vanilla flavdrops
3tbsp milk, water, or coffee!
2-3tbsp defatted peanut flour
1tbsp maple pecan (or regular) peanut butter
(40g) Doisy & Dam dark chocolate any flavour you like
1. Mix brownie ingredients together until they make a dough.
2. Divide dough in to 8 & roll in to balls.
3. Take a ball, push thumb in to make a cup.
4.Fill cup with maple pecan butter & pinch cupclosed, roll back in to a ball. Repeat with others.
5. Melt chocolate. Coat balls in chocolate & set on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. 6. Sprinkle with sea salt & put in fridge for 30mins to set.
