These healthy, chickpea blondies are insane. Chickpeas!!?? Yeah we said it. Chickpeas are actually really high in fibre which is great for gut health, full of protein, a good source of plant protein and super cheap. Most importantly they can be a great replacement for flour so fab for baking. 

This weeks recipe comes from the lovely @EatNourishLove she's a foodie, fitness dream and makes some DELISH recipes. Well worth a follow.

Without further ado, let the chickpea madness commence!


1 can drained chickpeas

40g vanilla protein

40g peanut butter (we use Pip and Nut)

1 (80g) banana

1 tsp vanilla extract

3tbsp (45g) GF plain flour

15tbsp coconut milk

1 80g bar Doisy & Dam Lemon & Poppy Seed white choc


Preaheat oven to gas mark 6/200C

Line a small baking tray with parchment paper

Put all of the ingredients apart from the chocolate in a food processor and blend until well combined and super creamy

Roughly chop your choc and stir it in to your mixture

Pour mixture in to tin and bake for 45 minutes. It should be a nice golden colour on top

Leave to cool completely before cutting
